Wedding cars · Surrey
Your wedding car sets the tone before a single vow is spoken, and at XLNC Cars we've been chauffeuring Surrey couples to their ceremonies for more than 30 years. We're a licensed chauffeur, taxi and airport transfer company based in Woking, covering 18 towns across Surrey — Guildford, Farnham, Camberley, Dorking, Cobham, Oxshott, Weybridge, Godalming, Haslemere, Cranleigh, Chertsey, Brookwood, Byfleet, Esher, Knaphill, Chobham and Ripley as well as Woking itself — so wherever your ceremony and reception are, we can plan the day around them. We hold a 5.0 out of 5 average customer rating on Google, and every route is planned so you arrive exactly when you should — relaxed, not rushed.

Choose our Executive Mercedes E-Class for understated elegance, or step up to the VIP Mercedes S-Class for a more show-stopping arrival. Both are presented spotless inside and out, and both feature in your wedding photographs almost as much as you do, so it's worth thinking about the look you want: the E-Class is the quieter, classic choice, while the S-Class carries more presence if you want heads to turn as you pull up. Your venue is worth factoring in too — a long driveway or a grand entrance often suits the S-Class, while a smaller church or registry office can look just as elegant behind the E-Class. Tell us your venue and the arrival you have in mind and we'll talk you through what fits.
A plain car rarely matches the occasion, so ribbon dressing in your wedding colours is included as standard on every wedding booking — there's no extra line on the quote for it. Tell us your colour scheme when you book, whether that's blush and ivory, deep burgundy, or your bridal party's exact shade, and we'll have the car dressed to match by the time it arrives. If you'd like to go further, flowers and other decoration can be arranged on request; mention it early so we can source and fit them properly rather than as a last-minute addition. If you'd rather match a specific shade from your stationery or bouquets than a generic wedding colour, bring a swatch or a photo along when you book and we'll match it as closely as we can.
Every wedding booking covers two legs on the day. The first collects you, and the wedding party if you need it, and brings you to the ceremony in good time. The second happens after you're married: we carry you on to the reception, whether that's a short hop down the road or a longer drive across Surrey. In between, your chauffeur doesn't go anywhere — the car stays at the ceremony venue throughout the service, so it's there, ribbon straight, the moment you walk back out as newlyweds wanting photographs with it. We plan the timing of both legs around your actual ceremony and reception times, building in room for photographs at each end. If you'd like to stretch the occasion with a short drive around the local area between the two, just mention it to your driver on the day.
The car doesn't have to arrive right when you need to leave for the ceremony. Many couples build in an earlier run — moving the bride and bridal party between a house and a hairdresser, for example, or bringing the groom and best man from where they're staying to the venue with time to spare before guests arrive. If the bride is getting ready at one address and the groom at another, which is common, we can arrange separate cars collecting from each and bring everyone to the right place at the right time rather than forcing it all through one vehicle and one schedule. The earlier you talk us through the shape of your morning, addresses included, the more accurately we can plan routes and timings around it, so nothing on the day comes down to guesswork.
Beyond the main car for the bride and groom, we can arrange transport for bridesmaids, best men, parents and other members of the wedding party, so nobody is left relying on their own transport or a lift from a relative on the day. For a small bridal party, a second Executive car alongside the main VIP car often does the job. For larger families, our Mercedes V-Class minibus can move a group together in one run rather than splitting them across several cars, which also keeps everyone arriving at the ceremony together rather than in a drawn-out trickle. Speak to us about how many people need moving, from where, and by when, and we'll put together a package around it.
There's no single right answer to how many cars a wedding needs — it depends on your venue, your wedding party and how the morning is shaped. A couple marrying and holding the reception at one venue, with a small, local bridal party, can often manage comfortably with a single Executive or VIP car for the bride and groom. Add a second venue, a bridal party getting ready at more than one address, or a larger family who'd rather not drive themselves, and a second vehicle — or the minibus for a bigger group — is usually simpler to arrange than it sounds, since we handle the coordination between vehicles ourselves.

Good to know
Three things drive the price: how long you need the car for on the day, the number of vehicles required for your wedding party, and which car you choose — from the Executive Mercedes up to the show-stopping VIP S-Class. We won't pretend to be the cheapest option around, but every quote reflects a genuinely first-class service — get in touch and we'll put one together for you.
Ribbon dressing in colours to suit your car and theme is included as standard with our wedding bookings. If you'd like additional decoration such as flowers, just let us know when you book and we'll do our best to accommodate it.
As soon as you have a date. We take bookings well over a year ahead, and while we do our best to fit in later requests, popular dates get booked up quickly, so early is always safer.
Every booking covers two legs on the day: we collect you and bring you to the ceremony, then a second run carries you on to the reception once you're married, with the car already dressed in ribbon to match your colours by the time we arrive. Need something extra — another journey, more cars for the wedding party, or decoration beyond ribbon — mention it when you book and we'll build it into your quote.
Yes, and it's still worth it — a wedding car gives you that classic arrival and departure even when the ceremony and reception share a venue. Ask your chauffeur for a short drive around the area afterwards if you fancy marking the moment, and rest assured they'll be waiting patiently throughout the ceremony, ready to capture those first photos as newlyweds.

Surrey weather is one more reason wedding transport is worth having rather than a nice-to-have. Your chauffeur will get the car as close to the door as possible and time your exit to keep you covered for as much of the walk as they can, so a downpour doesn't have to spoil your photos or your dress.
