Chauffeur Hire Surrey

Time

Chauffeur hire · Surrey

Most transport problems are not dramatic. They are a car that arrives ten minutes late for a 05:40 pickup, a fare that grows on the way, and a driver who takes the A3 at the wrong hour.

XLNC Cars has been running chauffeur-driven journeys out of Woking for30 years, and the service is built around removing those three things. Your fare is agreed before the car moves, the route is planned for the hour you are travelling, and the phone is answered at four in the morning by someone who can send a car.

Chauffeur hire, explained

Chauffeur Hire in Surrey, Wherever You're Starting From

"Chauffeur service near me" only means something once you know who actually covers your postcode. XLNC Cars is based in Woking and runs chauffeur hire across Surrey day to day — not as a one-off booking from further afield, but as the local service for the towns we already work in every week: Guildford, Weybridge, Cobham, Farnborough, Godalming, Farnham, Camberley, Haslemere, Hindhead, Cranleigh among them. If your address isn't in that list, call 01483 310310 — most of Surrey is a normal booking for us, not a special case.

Chauffeur services in Surrey vary a lot in what they actually mean day to day — for some operators it is a single premium car for occasions, for others a broader everyday hire service. At XLNC Cars it covers both: the 4 vehicle classes below for whatever the day calls for, a fare agreed before you travel, and a driver who already knows the roads rather than one following a satnav through them for the first time.

The price

The number we quote is the number you pay.

Every journey is priced on the pickup address and the destination. Not a meter, not a surge multiplier, and no adjustment afterwards. Tell us where you are going and we come back with the figure.

The form at the top of this page reaches the office directly. If you would rather send it as a message, WhatsApp opens with your details already written out.

The fleet

Four classes, matched to the passengers and the bags

We put the vehicle against the number of people and the amount of luggage, and we say so if a larger class is the sensible call — on the phone, rather than on the driveway.

Areas we cover

The Surrey towns we chauffeur in, and how far each one is from Heathrow

Distances and journey bands are real road measurements from OpenStreetMap routing, not estimates — the same data behind every route page on this site. Peak times sit at the top of each band. Tap a town for its own chauffeur page.

Business travel

What is said in the back of the car goes no further.

For company travel, the part clients tell us matters is not the upholstery. It is that a call taken on the way to Heathrow stays private, that the chauffeur knows the way into a Guildford business park without a satnav rerouting mid-conversation, and that an executive arrives composed rather than having spent twenty minutes circling for a space. That is the difference between a chauffeur and a taxi.

  • Drivers vetted before they carry a passenger
  • Local knowledge instead of a mid-journey reroute
  • A standing arrangement, not a booking every time

Where we run

Airports, terminals and the long runs

Heathrow and Gatwick are the everyday work. Distances below are measured from our Woking base — nearest first, so you can see at a glance which runs are short and which are a half-day.

The Southampton cruise terminal run is its own kind of journey — an early departure, a full boot and a sailing time that does not wait. It gets the same fixed fare and the same planning as an airport transfer.

Not every booking is airport-to-airport, either — a chauffeur based locally can also turn a business trip or a short visit into a proper look at the county. Our guide toexploring Surrey with a chauffeurcovers what that actually looks like, from Guildford's castle to the Surrey Hills.

Accounts

For travel that repeats every week

A weekly airport run, client collections from the station, a director who needs the same 06:00 slot every Tuesday. An account gives you one point of contact, consolidated invoicing, and vehicle preferences held on file, so booking takes one line instead of a conversation. There is no minimum spend to have the conversation.

Questions

Before you book

Which parts of Surrey do you cover?

We are based in Woking and cover Surrey and its borders daily — Guildford, Weybridge, Cobham, Farnborough, Godalming, Farnham, Camberley, Haslemere, Hindhead and Cranleigh among them. If your town is not listed, call 01483 310310; the answer is usually yes, and we would rather tell you straight than take a booking we cannot serve properly.

What is the difference between your chauffeur service and a taxi?

A chauffeur booking reserves a specific car and driver for you at a set time, with the route planned in advance and the fare fixed beforehand. A taxi is whatever is nearest when you call, metered, with no guarantee about the vehicle or the driver. For an early flight or a client meeting, the difference is whether the journey is a variable or not.

How far ahead do I need to book?

Short-notice requests are often possible — the phone is answered 24 hours a day. Booking at least 24 hours ahead gives us the best chance of matching the right vehicle class to your passengers and luggage, and it lets us build the right amount of slack into an airport run.

Is the price really fixed, even if the traffic is bad?

Yes. The fare is agreed on your pickup address and destination before you travel, and traffic, a terminal change or a longer route does not alter it. For flights we monitor the arrival time and move the pickup at no extra cost for reasonable delays.

Can we set up an account for regular company travel?

Yes — several Surrey businesses run standing accounts with us for recurring journeys, with consolidated invoicing rather than a payment per trip. Call 01483 310310 or use the form on this page and ask about account terms.
