xlnccars.com uses one piece of local browser storage, plus Google Ads conversion tracking that only activates once you accept our cookie notice:

The local-storage item doesn't identify you personally and isn't itself used for analytics or advertising — it exists purely so the banner stops reappearing once you've seen it. The Google Ads conversion tracking is real advertising measurement, and it is consent-gated: nothing beyond a cookieless ping is set until you click "I Accept".

Cookies We Don't Use

To be specific rather than vague, this site does not currently set:

• Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics/GA4) — we don't run any analytics platform
• Meta Pixel or any other social-platform retargeting pixel
• Cross-site tracking or profiling cookies beyond the Google Ads conversion measurement described above

Our online enquiry and booking forms are submitted directly to our own server and don't rely on cookies to function.

Third-Party Embeds

Our Contact Us page embeds a Google Map. When that map loads, Google may set its own cookies in your browser under its own cookie policy — this is Google's embed, not something we configure or control. You can find out more inGoogle's Cookies policy.

Managing or Clearing Storage

Because we only use local storage (not a session or tracking cookie), the usual browser "block cookies" setting may not affect it directly. To reset our cookie-notice preference, clear your browser's site data/local storage for xlnccars.com, or use your browser's privacy settings to clear storage for this site — the notice will simply reappear on your next visit, which is harmless.

If This Changes

If we introduce an analytics platform (e.g. Google Analytics) or any further tracking technology in future, we will update this page and ourPrivacy Policy to describe it accurately. As now, we'll always ask for your consent through the cookie banner before anything non-essential is set, in line with UK PECR requirements.
