Wedding cars · Woking
Woking gives couples a genuinely striking backdrop for wedding photography, from the domes of the Shah Jahan Mosque — Britain's first purpose-built mosque, opened in 1889 — to the sweeping architecture around the McLaren Technology Centre on the town's edge. XLNC Cars has been driving brides, grooms and wedding parties around Woking and the wider Surrey area for more than 30 years, and every booking includes ribbon dressing as standard, so the car looks the part before it's even left our yard. We're rated 5.0 on Google, and fares are fixed and agreed with you at the time of booking, so there's no last-minute surprise on the day. Whether your ceremony is in the town centre or a country venue on the outskirts, and whether you need one Executive saloon or a full convoy for the wedding party, we plan the whole day around your ceremony time, not the other way round.

A wedding only has one start time, and our chauffeurs build in enough margin that traffic on the Woking gyrator or roadworks near the town centre never become your problem. A typical wedding day starts with a morning collection — often from home or a hotel while hair and make-up are finishing — followed by the drive to the ceremony with time built in to spare. From there, the car can wait through the ceremony itself, ready to take you straight on to photographs and then the reception, rather than you having to arrange a second pickup. We'll agree pickup times for the bride, the groom's party and any parents travelling separately in advance, then hold to them — the driver waits, not the other way around.
Wedding mornings rarely run from a single address. It's common for the bride to be getting ready at one house and the groom at another, sometimes with bridesmaids or parents at a third, all needing to be at the right place at the right time without anyone waiting around. We plan multiple pickups into a single booking, working out the running order and timings so that everyone arrives in the right sequence — groom and best man first, then the bride last, exactly when the ceremony calls for her. If plans change on the morning itself, your chauffeur is in contact and can adjust.
Every wedding booking comes with ribbon dressing fitted to match your colour scheme at no extra charge, so the car is ready for photographs the moment it arrives. If you'd like flowers or other decoration added to the car as well, mention it when you book and our team will coordinate it with you ahead of the day rather than leaving it as a surprise on the morning itself.
Most couples choose our Executive Mercedes E-Class for the bride or groom, but we can also arrange a VIP Mercedes S-Class for a more formal arrival, or a Mercedes V-Class minibus for bridesmaids, ushers and parents who'd rather travel together than arrive in separate cars. Vehicles can be mixed and matched across a single booking — an S-Class for the bride's arrival, say, with a minibus running the rest of the wedding party to the same venue at the same time, so nobody is left waiting outside for later guests.
Woking's ceremony and reception venues range from the town centre itself out to venues and grounds on the outskirts, and we plan routes and timings around whichever type of venue you've chosen. A town-centre ceremony means factoring in the gyrator and one-way system at the times wedding traffic tends to build; a venue further out usually means a longer, more scenic drive with fewer of those constraints but a longer run between ceremony and reception if they're not at the same site. Either way, we work out the timings with you in advance rather than guessing on the day.
A lot of what we do on a wedding day happens before the ceremony itself — collecting the bride from the hairdresser, running flowers between addresses, or getting the groom and best man to the venue with time to spare. Once the reception winds down, the same car can take you on to your hotel for the night or straight to the airport to start the honeymoon, so the day doesn't have to end with you arranging your own transport home.

Good to know
Yes — we regularly cover ceremonies and receptions across Woking and the surrounding villages, including Horsell, Byfleet, Knaphill and Brookwood, so guests travelling between venues aren't left arranging their own transport.
It's included as standard on every wedding booking at no extra cost. We'll match the ribbon colour to your theme if you let us know in advance.
Yes, we regularly book multiple vehicles for the same wedding — one for the couple and others for parents, bridesmaids or ushers, all coordinated to the same timings.
Chauffeurs are booked for the whole day, not a fixed slot, so a longer-than-planned ceremony or photo session doesn't create a problem — the car simply waits.
That's very common, and it's exactly the kind of timing we plan for — we build in the drive time between the two so you're not rushing, whether that's crossing town past the gyrator or heading out to a venue on the outskirts and back.
